A lootbox opening VFX with animation I made using UE5.5. I made all the textures using Substance Designer for procedural noises and Photoshop for hand-drawn lightning. Models are downloaded from FAB, prepared in Blender, and the box itself is rigged in UE5 using Control Rig and animated in Sequencer.
For background, I've made custom material with a couple of panning textures to add more life to the entire presentation. I wanted to recreate the Motion Design material designer example I've seen online, using regular materials.
